Chandler West, 2015 graduate

I truly believe Studio Crush was such an important part of my journey to becoming a makeup artist. Two years later I am still connected with all of the people we were able to work with and learn from and I’m so thankful I went here! Not only were we provided the perfect start up kit with every product and tool we would need, but I personally learned so much from the instructors. We were able to learn different techniques from many different professional makeup artists that I truly believed set me up to be able to cater to every type of skin tone, type, and texture. They went beyond teaching us “just makeup.” We learned what it really takes to make it in this industry including set etiquette, how to make and keep connections, they even went as far to help us set up our own websites. I have had many people that I have referred to Studio Crush and the transformation I’ve personally had and seen with my fellow classmates has been so fun to watch. Hannah and the whole staff are so welcoming and truly care about us succeeding and have continued to help us even years later. I highly recommend!!

Emily knight, 2016 Graduate

I moved to Atlanta to attend Studio Crush, not knowing if I would stay in the area. Now 2 years later I am still in the area working as a Makeup Artist and I don't think it would have been possible without the opportunities and connections I made at Studio Crush.

For starters we learned the basics of makeup applications, clean beauty, wedding makeup, editorial makeup, and so much more. Every week was one day of makeup lessons followed by a day with a full photoshoot. And the photoshoot was in a professional studio, models, photographers, hairstylist, and wardrobe stylist. The images you get back are absolutely AMAZING!!!

Its important to realize that the photoshoot is full of people that do this on a daily basis. They are all willing to help with understanding the way a photoshoot works so when you get into the real world of photoshoots you know what you're doing and don't feel like a fish out of water.

One other thing was the images you get back when you complete the 10 week course. I left with beautiful images that made it so easy to set up my professional website.

I made the best connections through the school and can't believe what an amazing transition I was able to make into the professional world of Makeup Artistry.

I attended Studio Crush May of 2018, it was the best decision ever. My connections alone I made at the school were worth every penny. Makeup is a hard industry to get into without the right mentors/tools. Studio Crush provided me not just with great mentors and direction, but I left with a full portfolio, make up kit, and knowledge I could have never figured out on my own. If you’re wanting to get in the makeup industry and not sure where to start, most definitely check out Studio Crush! <3

Mong Bui, 2020 Graduate

THE BEST makeup school in Atlanta. Period. Not only do the instructors teach you makeup techniques, but they also teach you all other aspects of the industry that is not glorified. From sanitation and set etiquette to networking and running your own makeup business, they're knowledgeable about it all.

Also, this is the ONLY school that emphasizes on building your pro makeup portfolio while you're in school so that you have amazing content to market right after you graduate to get in front of potential clients with confidence and real work to show.

Even after graduating, the instructors and director of the school continue to be helpful when I have any questions. They refer work to their grads whenever the opportunity arises.

I can't praise Studio Crush enough. If you are considering a profession in makeup, start here.
